For Paul Vicente, sharing his stories and experiences is the best way to build a close relationship with his customers.
As a financial consultant, Paul believes in the power of relating to the people he talks to as he shares the value of financial security. “Just like everyone, I never really gave too much thought to financial planning,” Paul explains, “but that was until I experienced a difficult situation that made me understand that everyone should have a plan.” And this is the very story that he shares now whenever he reaches out to more Filipinos who are building their better tomorrow.
Paul started out in the field of information technology, which led to his current employment in the BPO sector. But it was his son’s introduction to the world of financial planning that enticed him to help Filipinos plan their better financial tomorrow. “I got really motivated by the chance to help people become more educated in the importance of not just saving but also to really plan out a future that they want for themselves.”
And Paul takes it even further than just educating the people he talks to. “I really make sure that I build a personal relationship with them,” he explains. “It’s not just about selling; it’s about living up to the meaning of the word ‘partner.” I make myself available to them, giving them advice and sharing my experiences. That way, they know that they can trust me.”

”It’s not just about selling; it’s about living up to the meaning of the word ‘partner.
Paul believes that it is a privilege to be part of a growing team that’s made it their mission to help Filipinos secure the future they envision for themselves. And he’s excited to share his advice with new and incoming financial consultants.
“Be purposeful, and make it beyond just selling to them. Share your stories and experiences about why financial planning matters. And most of all, build a relationship with them so you can be their partner in building their better tomorrow.”
Truly, a simple conversation can be the start of securing the lives of more people for the better. Just like what Paul is doing today.
