For Joy Morales, the thought of becoming a successful financial consultant was not in the books for her. “I really viewed working in the insurance industry as an “old person’s job”, she explained, “I entered the industry just wanting to try it for six months. Now here I am eight years later, and I have found joy in the job.”
Her story in securing people’s lives began when she was invited by her best friend. It was the furthest thing from her mind as Joy worked in the hotel industry. “But since, it was my best friend’s brother who would become my mentor, I gave it a chance.” And now she has unlocked a world of possibilities, prosperity, perks and purpose all because Joy dared to try.
”I’m doing this for my son
“I’m doing this for my son,” Joy shares who is a single mom to her 19 year old who is taking up Dentistry. “I want to give him the very best that I can give.” And she is fulfilling that with her role as a Financial Consultant in EastWest Ageas. Joy has found her balance in both her professional and personal life. She manages to keep her rigorous fitness regimen, while successfully closing deals with high net-worth clients. In fact, Joy was one of the delegates for the MDRT global experience conference held in Dubai last August 2024.
